The Gryphon Trio was established in 1993 by three members of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music. The trio has made twenty-two recordings and produced over one hundred commissioned works by contemporary composers. Praised for its musicality, precision, and inventive interpretations, the ensemble is consistently recognized as one of the world’s leading piano trios.

The Ivalas Quartet was established in 2017 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a mission to enrich the classical music world by showcasing works by past and present Black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) composers alongside the standard repertoire. The members of the quartet also have a shared dedication to their role as educators, including coaching experience at The Juilliard School in both the preparatory and undergraduate divisions.

Founded in Berlin, Germany, in 2014, Trio Boccherini is dedicated to rediscovering often overlooked works for string trio and to performing music from the vast trove of more than five hundred pieces written for this combination of instruments. The trio’s goal is to create its own unique identity and to produce the cohesiveness and depth of sound available in just three stringed instruments, unsupported by the piano.

Since its inception in 1995 at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, the Grammy-nominated Miró Quartet has performed on the world’s most prestigious concert stages, earning accolades from critics and audiences alike. The ensemble regularly tours throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. It has performed in major American festivals and collaborated with noted musicians, including Pinchas Zukerman, Midori, and Joshua Bell.
